I had a jarring experience while searching the internet on my business name.

I stumbled across a website called: proisk.ru

Now the website is very curious. Even more curious was the fact that my business files were being displayed on the Interwebs.

That was definately a WTF moment.

Well those files were being stored on a newly purchased 1,000 gb NAS RAID 1. Well that NAS is secured by a firewall and a secure logon… right…

But if it is secure how did my files end up on a russian file search website?

The only clue was in the date. The date corresponded to when Windows Security Essentials discovered a trojan virus. I believe that, perhaps the malware phoned home with the directory info. I still haven’t made the connection to http://proisk.ru/.

The hacker armageddon is coming.
